Late Winter: Mid-August 2009
Our one and only capsicum, red and green with a healthy shinning sheen, not looking too bad, already thinking of ways to use it for our pizza dinner tonight,.....but on closer inspection, found a big hole at the side!!! Horror!!! Thinking that it's only an insect eaten hole, I cut it open with a knife and almost immediately, 10 mean-looking weevil-like insects with pointy tail ends started slithering out!!! It's as if I had rudely interrupted their little orgy inside the "Red Lantern Bar"! Arrrrgghhhhh!!!!! Into the bin and out into the trash can! Be gone you #$@%$&%^ insects! Ahh....the joys of gardening...
